What happens during the meet and greet?
Build a personal, trusting relationship with you and your pet.
Trust and communications are our top priorities. Here’s your time to ask any burning questions you have. We want you to be completely confident and comfortable with our services. We also want to make sure our pet sitters are comfortable with you, your pets and your rules.

Obtain pet information.
It’s important for us to get the facts. Is your dog friendly to people, children, cats, can your dog be off-leash when appropriate, are vaccinations up to date… Where does your cat like to hide, does she try to run out the door...

What are your cancellation policies?
Things happen, we get it. However, if things are happening too often we will enforce our 48 hour cancellation policy. We reserve the right to take a deposit for cat and dog sitting, cat and dog visits, and dog boarding because that is money lost to other jobs we could have taken. You understand. We are generous people, understanding people and rarely have to enforce our cancellation policy.

Can you take care of my sick pet?
We care for dogs that are healthy and free of contagious illnesses.We will work closely with you to make sure your pet gets everything she needs.

Where is the meet and greet?
Boarding and day care meet and greets are at our house. Hiking at your house.

How long are your dog hikes?
One hour of paws on the ground is guaranteed, but hiking adventures usually range from 2-3 hours away from home with driving time. Dogs go crazy when they hear the dog limo pull up for pick up.

How many dogs are usually on a hike?
From 1-2dogs that are dog friendly, human friendly and have reliable recall.

What are your weather policies?
Dogs love hiking in the rain where there are more smells and more fun. So we do not cancel for rain, but we will cancel for lightning.

How do you ensure the safety of my dog?
Your pet’s safety is our highest priority. However, they do make decisions of their own, and there are risks involved with those decisions especially during hiking. Don’t worry. During our meet and greet we will talk in depth.

Are you able to give medicines?
We are happy to give oral medications. We do not give injectable medications but can make arrangements for someone else to come administer injectables.

Do you provide pick up / drop off services?
Yes we provide pick up and drop off services in our territory. Outside our territory, no problem, use our day care service. Please contact us talk about more details.
